Visitors in the summer can enjoy boating and fishing. In the fall, hit the Bethel golf course or hike the Appalachian Trail. Better still, be a leaf peeper -- the area was recently rated as a number 1 pick by Bon Appetit Magazine for fall foliage viewing. Wildlife such as moose, bear, deer, and eagles are abundant.
